“Do not be afraid. Do not be satisfied with mediocrity. Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”- Saint John Paul II
Paul wrote to the Corinthians, “whoever is in Christ is a new creation: the old things have passed away; behold, new things have come (2 Corinthians 5:17). Jesus Christ is the source of “all things new” and he comes into our hearts through prayer, his word and through the sacraments. What does a renewed heart look like? When Saint John Paul 2 was Pope, he described it this way, “let yourselves be taken over by the light of Christ and spread that light wherever you are”!
If you are looking for an opportunity to renew your heart and grow in faith and discipleship, you are invited to join your peers and faith leaders from around the Diocese of Crookston at the Saint John Paul 2 Middle School Camp!
Saint John Paul II Camp is for youth entering grades 7 & 8 who have a desire to deepen their faith, live in that faith and share their faith with others. Throughout the camp, youth will be encouraged and mentored as they engage in prayer, worship, leadership development, spiritual reflection, play and service. The five-day experience is designed to encourage and equip youth for discipleship.
